Overview

To fulfill our vision and achieve our mission, we, the members of the Hallandale Beach Police Department are committed to these core values:

Human Life

We value the sanctity of human life with dignity and respect above all else. We will respond to life threatening situations with the utmost diligence and care.

Truthfulness

The fundamental cornerstone of ethical policing is truthfulness under all conditions. Therefore, we pledge to conduct every action in a legal, ethical and moral manner as we commit ourselves to the public and police department, as well as the laws we are sworn to uphold.

Leadership

Effective leadership will not only model the way, it will enable others to act and inspire a shared vision. We as individuals and as an organization strive to be leaders in our profession, in the community we serve, and amongst our peers.

Community Service

We value our badge of office as a symbol of public faith, and accept it as a public trust to be held so long as we are true to the ethics of police service. We strive to enhance the quality of life of our citizens by providing service that is responsible to the needs of our community.

As individuals and as an organization, we will remain loyal to the badge we swore to honor and the responsibility it represents. Through adherence to our principles of duty, honesty, and honor; we pledge our loyalty to the mission of this department, and to those we are sworn to serve.
