SUBJECT:     Consideration of Revocation, Modification, or Conditions of the Special Privilege License #08-00002662 of Le Creole Productions, Inc., D/B/A New Millennium Ballroom, 1484 E. Hallandale Beach, Florida

At the November 21, 2007 Commission meeting, the City Commission considered the impact on the health, welfare and safety of the community and patrons of Le Creole Productions, Inc. d/b/a New Millennium Ballroom and directed the hours of operation for Friday and Saturday nights be changed, on an emergency basis, from a 4:00 A.M. closing to a 2:00 A.M. closing.   A letter from the City Attorney to the licensee advising of the Commission’s action and reasons for same was hand delivered and mailed on November 23, 2007 stipulating that the change in closing hours for Friday and Saturday nights is effective November 23, 2007.

Pursuant to Section 5-9(e) of the City’s Code of Ordinances, this matter is placed on the December 4, 2007 Commission agenda to allow the licensee the opportunity to be heard and for the City Commission to further consider the matter.
