SUBJECT:     Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for Fiscal Year Ended September 30, 2005 and the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for 2006-07 Budget

The City of Hallandale Beach has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 21^st consecutive year.  The Distinguished Budget Presentation Award has been received for the 20^th consecutive year.

The Finance Department has made arrangements with the regional spokesperson for the Government Finance Officers Association, Alan Owens, to present the referenced  awards at the City Commission meeting of June 6, 2007.  Mr. Owens will be available at 10:00 a.m. for the presentation.
